What: Retreat to the heart of Tuscany at the fall harvest. Experience the perfect balance of an authentic Italian village, with characteristic architecture, history, unique shops, cafes, and locals riding their bikes around town.
Where: Lucca, Italy (Tuscany)
Our villa sits in the Tuscan hills above Lucca, a classic walled town, one of the few remaining intact, about 1 hour from Florence and about the same from the coast.
Why: Tuscany holds a special place in my heart, as I lived there for a year, many decades ago. The people, the food, the land, all are rich with diversity and deliciousness! I speak Italian fluently and look forward to sharing Tuscany’s treasures with you. I teach classical yoga & meditation, and will be offering a variety of practices for all levels. My specialty for the past 20 years has been Yoga Therapy and I am the author of True Yoga: Practicing with the Yoga Sutras for Happiness & Spiritual Fulfillment and Breathing Love: Meditation in Action. On this retreat, we’ll be celebrating the launch of my third book, SPARK CHANGE! So I hope you’ll join me, for a week of love, laughter, friendship and the Italian bella vita!
For those who wish to venture out on their own, the train station is approx. 15 minute walk from the villa and/or taxis are available. Day excursions to Florence, Pisa, Siena, Porto Venere and many other quaint Tuscan towns are easily accessible.

The $500 deposit is NON-refundable. Balance due by May 15, 2020. A 4% processing fee will be added for Paypal. Cancellations prior to May 1 will receive a refund of monies paid, less the $500 deposit. NO cancellations after May 15. Since last minute injuries, illnesses, work emergencies, world events, etc unfortunately do happen, travel insurance is HIGHLY recommended.

Jennie Lee is the author of Breathing Love: Meditation in Action (2018) and True Yoga: Practicing with the Yoga Sutras for Happiness and Spiritual Fulfillment (2016). A Yoga Therapist for the past 20 years, she helps people find their joy within, overcoming stress, grief and anxiety through the transformative practices of classical yoga, meditation and writing. Jennie has been a lifelong rider and owned numerous horses. She loves integrating yoga and meditation with horse interaction.
Jennie’s writing has also been featured in dozens of wellness blogs and magazines. She is Certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT), and the Yoga Alliance (RYT 500).
